A biotype, also known as a health type is a population or group of individuals having the same (or similar) genotype and phenotype traits.
A genotype refers to a particular gene or set of genes carried by an individual.
A phenotype is a description of your actual physical characteristics. This includes straightforward visible characteristics like your height and eye colour, but also your overall health, your health history, and even your behaviour and general disposition.
There are six main biotypes. However, while we all have a main or primary biotype, biotypes are a bit like a spiders web and we will have traits and characteristics from more than one biotype. While our genes and phenotype have a large influence on this our upbringing and environment play a part in our overall make up. All of these parts and variances help determine our individual biotype.
This involves a series of questions about your health, health history, genetic lineage, environment and lifestyle, including some non-invasive skeletal measurements. The data is plugged into our lifestyle platform where some very sophisticated algorithms crunch the numbers, which maps over 10,000 data points to produce your personal health profile including your biotype.

No. Happiness and health is not only about the food that we eat and the exercise we do . . . our health and happiness is directly affected by how we spend our time, who we spend it with, our thoughts and external environment, so while we do look at Food and Exercise we also look at Mind, Place, Social and Talents. We'll also coach you on their priorities so you working on what its most important to your biotype.

Given that our bodies are developing rapidly through puberty, we recommend a minimum age of 16, however if there are specific circumstances or underlying health concerns talk to us and we can discuss on an individual basis.
